Wintel Team Leader / Senior Solution Architect

My Client, a leading IT service provider seeks a Wintel Team Leader / Senior Solution Architect who comes from a strong Design background. This person will be responsible for a Design Team Centre and delivering infrastructure design actives across a Customer and Client base. This position is based in the West Midlands. Highly negotiable basic salary commensurate with experience, plus a competitive package including car allowance, up to 10% bonus, up to 10% contributory pension, 25 days holiday etc, flexible benefits scheme etc.

Responsibilities are to act as the central technical authority, providing advise, feedback & updates on all technical matter within the Central Network Design group. To act as the conduit for technical best practice policies & procedures. Keep up to date with how projects are proceeding and escalate any potential problems in a timely manner to management teams.

Candidates need experience in as many of the following as possible;

Client Technologies, Windows client (Vista and 7), Microsoft Desktop Optimisation Pack (App-V, etc.), Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, Group Policy, BitLocker, Exchange Server, SQL Server, Windows Server (2008, 2008 R2), Windows Server (2008, 2008 R2), Active Directory, File Services (local and distributed), Print Services, Internet Information Services (web services), Hyper-V, Remote Desktop Services, Windows Deployment Services and Windows Server Update Services, Network Services (DNS, DHCP, NPS, BranchCache, DirectAccess), System Centre, Configuration Manager, Operations Manager, Data Protection Manager, Virtual Machine Manager, Identity Lifecycle Manager, Active Directory Federation (Identity Integration), Security, Forefront (General Security), Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server, Intelligent Access Gateway (IAG)

Useful skills are;

MCTS, MCITP, MCDST, MCSA, MCDBA, MCSE
