
Transition Programme Manager - contract - Belgium

Amoria Bond are looking for an experienced Senior project/Programme Manager for this contract based in Belgium to manage the design, planning and implementation of service transition activities for complex managed ICT service solutions in order to deliver high value customer solutions to agreed schedule, budget and quality.
To be successful you must have a solid client facing/managed services experience, managing internal and external business in the IT or telecom industry. To be able to communicate with the different clients you must be able to speak/write fluent English, as well as German and/or Dutch and/or French!
Tasks include:
- Engaging with specific customers to understand and capture their service transition requirements
and to explain the service transition capabilities
- Engaging with 3rd parties where appropriate to understand the contribution their service transition capabilities might make to the overall implementation
- Ensuring that customers' service transition requirements are clearly articulated within the bid/solutions development team and captured by the solution design activity
- Validating the solution design produced and ensuring that what is being proposed can actually be delivered
- Developing the transition plan and ensuring that the costs associated with it are captured and built into the commercial model
- Validating the commercial model produced to ensure that it contains adequate provision and contingencies for the service transition proposed
- Ensuring that the transition plan and underpinning implementation methodology are clearly articulated in the bid response
- Acting as the service transition lead for a specific customer solution: planning the service transition, building /managing the necessary transition team, delivering transitional projects and programmes, managing risk, governance, quality assurance, issue resolution, reporting and timelines
- Owning the transition budget and managing all expenditure associated with service transition, ensuring that all costs are recorded against products and services delivered and that the expenditure runs within budget agreed within the commercial model.
- Managing the interface with 3rd party suppliers involved in the service transition: contractual agreement, planning, timelines, SLA, quality of deliverables
Skills needed:
- A sound Project/Programme Management experience with several full life cycles, in the IT/telecom industry
- Proven track record of managing large-scale complex transition programmes and projects, to time/budget and client satisfaction
- Ideally you have a bachelor's degree or global equivalent
- You have excellent interpersonal skills and drive, you are highly self-motivated and self-organized, flexible and creative

- You have strong communication and negotiation skills towards different levels, good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes, budgeting and resource allocation procedures
