Project Manager £30-35k + benefits Gloucestershire A long-established, well-known engineering company specialising in complex electro-mechanical systems are looking for a project manager. With experience of managing projects incorporating (ideally) software, electronics, mechanical and/or systems engineering elements, you will have an opportunity to direct high-value, high profile projects. You will be expected to co-ordinate engineering activities on a number of projects, as well as providing technical input to the development of the projects from concept, to unit production build, and operational acceptance. Main duties will include: - Management of projects to time and cost - Co-ordination of the team and resources assigned to the projects - Provision of management information reporting on progress both internally and externally - Development of close, long term customer relationships - Development of appropriate recovery plans to achieve milestones as required - Leading bid preparation activities as required - Assisting the team to develop creative solutions to technical problems Required: - Broad systems / software/ electronics / mechanical engineering experience with ideally some commercial or other managerial exposure - Team leader / project management experience with a small technical team - Highly proficient with Microsoft Project or equivalent - Exposure to project management methodologies such as PRINCE2 If you feel you are right for this role, and can bring your skills to further benefit this extremely successful company, please call on 08456580415 and ask for Alex Ireland or submit your CV
