The majority of the work will be writing embedded software systems in C, although there will be a significant amount of analogue hardware design work. Required skills: - Experience writing C code for embedded systems - Interest in working through full software lifecycle – from design, through coding and testing - Analogue design knowledge Desirable (but by no mean essential!): - UML design - Knowledge of control theory - Experience of designing products for high-volume manufacture - Microprocessor circuit design - PCB layout experience The successful candidate will design and develop code and some hardware for new products, as well as taking responsibility for existing code – including necessary alterations or modifications.
