Job Title: Systems Integration Engineer Location: Gloucestershire Salary: £Competitive + Excellent benefits A global technology company specializing in defence electronics is looking for a Systems Integration Engineer to provide systems engineering and integration know how at equipment level. As Systems Integration Engineer you’ll be contributing your expert knowledge aimed at the integration of electronic equipment onto vehicle platforms. The role You’ll be expected to provide the systems engineering and integration aspects of design, development and/or production projects at equipment level through all stages of the project lifecycle. Responsibilities: -Leading equipment level system engineering aspects of development on Electronic Warfare tenders and projects -Ensuring that systems engineering processes are employed throughout the project lifecycle -Providing technical input to project estimating and controlling processes -Requirements management and sub-contractor liaison -Supporting bid preparation and coordinating engineering activities Required skills: You’ll need to have strong experience in a systems integration and engineering lead role along with validation and verification techniques. A practical knowledge of requirements management including working with stakeholders and the ability to support design review will also be required. Any knowledge of the following would also be an advantage: - Experience of defence contracting and bid process - DOORS - Conversant in receivers, transmitters, signal processing and high level software as applied to equipment and systems in the DC – 3GHz frequency range.
