TECHNICAL TEAM LEADER - HARDWARE/SOFTWARE DEVICES. My client, a major provider of health and care services globally, requires a Technical Team Leader to manage a team of IT Specialists dealing with all aspects of device management and support, including hardware and software Asset Management, licensing compliance and security.
The Team Leader will be responsible for providing day to day team management including performance management, workload management and resource allocation, developing team members, taking ownership of the team's service centre call queues, working with Subject Matter Experts in developing road-maps for technologies and working collaboratively with Project Managers in the development and maintenance of project resource plans, driving forward rollout projects, and ensuring the necessary project governance is adhered to.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Experience managing or supervising a team - Experience in project delivery and understanding of the Project Lifecycle (incl. financial reporting) - Technical background in the support of devices – i.e. desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, OS, software, with experience in Remote Access solutions and Imaging devices - Good knowledge of SCCM 2007 or advanced knowledge of SMS 2003 - Understanding of Service Management principles (ITIL Foundation required) - Experience with Asset Management software - Experience managing Third Party Suppliers
