JAVA DEVELOPER – JAVA, SQL SERVER/ORACLE/DB2. My Solihull based client, a major global provider of enterprise software solutions, has an opening for an experienced Java Developer to join the Software Audit team, which is developing software to monitor customer compliance to license agreements.

Liaising closely with Analysts, the Java Developer will be responsible for designing, coding and testing software solutions across a broad spectrum of enterprise software products, taking ownership of a significant part of a system and mentoring less experienced Developers.

The successful candidate will possess:

- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrable experience of Object Oriented (OO) development in Java
- Knowledge of one or more of the following Databases: SQL Server, Oracle, Informix, DB2
Ideally possessing:
- Experience of ERP software applications
- Experience in the use of UML and design patterns
- Exposure to Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts
