Oracle Apps DBA. A lead Oracle eBusiness Suite functional support consultant required to establish a DBA support team in Northern Ireland to support a group of existing customers. Team members must have Oracle eBusiness Suite DBA experience. The support role includes incident, problem and change management both in hours and out of hours as well as a likely requirement to join the Oracle Practice out of hours. The team will deliver support services to a set of customers and work will include application of patches and database upgrade. Good communicator and able to deal with customer / Oracle / internal employees through phone and email. Able to work well within a team and prven ability to follow processes and procedures accurately. A good mix of the following skills: Oracle 7/8/9/10, Oracle eBusiness Suite experience including patching and upgrade, Oracle 10g RAC, OEM/Grid Control, RMAN, Streams, Oracle Fusion, SQL Scripting, Oracle 9/10 database optimisation, Familiarity with UNIX, Veritas Clusters and SANs, Familiarity with Tivoli Storage Manager, Netbackup and Tivoli Workload Scheduler.
